Rest in Peace, sweet Captain

Our beloved woofie, Captain, was helped to the bridge on Monday. He was 17 1/2 years old. We will miss him forever.

What a gorgeous, sweet woofie. Captain will be missed, I know. After that many years, they are truly a part of you. We lost our beloved little Bear a bit over a year ago at almost 18 years old. I'll bet Captain and Bear are out running and playing together in the warm sun.
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers (and purrayers)...

We are so sorry! Captain had the best home and knew how much he was loved. He had a great, long life and will be watching over you forever. Purrs!

PS Lemieux, we were thinking of you this weekend because we passed a car dealer several times named "Lemieux"! (Green Bay, WI)

Our purrs are with you...

Weep not for me though I am gone
into that gentle night.
Grieve if you will, but not for long
upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest
there is no need for tears
For with your love, I was so blessed
for all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not
the fear now is all gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
in your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath
remember not the strife
lease do not dwell upon my death
but celebrate my life.
